Welcome! Let me introduce myself and the "LUVR Services" world...
My name is Andrew, I'm 21, and I live in Georgia, USA. I am the Owner & Freelance I.T. Consultant at LUVR Services. I started LUVR Services back in January/February of 2006 with the original name "Andrew's Tech Svcs." (ATS). Over the years I've provided support in many areas of the Information Technology field from email services all the way to web designing.
At one point in time, I reached a peak of services that I offered ("departments") and so I opted to change the name from "departments" to "Services" so not to give off a business-formal impression but more along the lines of genuine and practical. ATS also was the name of one of the two services that I offered before additional services came along, so it conflicted often on paper and in operation. So, in that light, I opted for a new business name and I chose LUVR Services to give the same impression.
Then I was faced with whether I wanted to run "just another computer business", like most everyone else to get ahead, or did I want to run "an honest and genuine business", that very few do. The answer was obvious, I wanted to run a genuine business where the client was highly valued and the results were always honest and to the best of my abilities.
LUVR Services has had six individual Services: Technical Services, Web Design, Networking, Email, Training, & Graphic Design. Over time, all but Technical Services with Networking and Web Design were retired. Finally the last two Services were merged under the LUVR Services surname in late 2009. I can see future plans are in the works, but only the Lord, Jesus Christ knows what's in store and when for LUVR Services!
"So what sets LUVR Services apart from all the rest?" I'm a Christian and I believe in Jesus Christ (don't overlook my business just because of this). I won't go into that discussion because this isn't the place for that, but you did ask! No, what truly sets LUVR Services and all the rest apart is the fact that Jesus Christ is at the center of it all: He spiritually influences how I run the business, how I set the prices, He gave me the knowledge and skills to start and maintain the business, He gave me a genuine, servant-hearted attitude for my clients, and best of all, I respect beliefs but I can share (should a client ask) about who He is and what He wants to do in and throughout our lives because He died on the cross to forgive ALL of our sins, past and present!
